As I have mentioned before, I grew up in Southwick, MA, but it has taken me a long time to grow to a full appreciation of what a picturesque and lovely town it really is.
This weekend I took the opportunity to savor some fall fun in Southwick, MA.
On Saturday my seven year old daughter and I visited the Southwick Historical Museum’s open house. It was a grand opening of their new building and an open house tour of the Moore House.
We both enjoyed looking at the artifacts on display as well as viewing the antique furnishings and decorative items in the house.
On Sunday my family and I went to get our pumpkins and mums to decorate the house for the autumn. There are a number of great farms to choose from in Southwick, MA, but we decided upon Coward Farm. In addition to pumpkins, gourds, mums and decorative items, they had a fun Halloween themed train ride that is appropriate for everyone in the family.
