Lesley Lambert, Dancing REALTOR Announces her “Dancer’s Discount” Program
Hello my friends and fans of dance! It occurred to me recently that I have not been sharing with many of you that I am a long time (25 years!) professional REALTOR.
That is right, the woman that you may know as Miss Lesley is a real estate agent at Park Square Realty in Westfield, MA where she serves her clients all over the Pioneer Valley and beyond.
I would like to offer a new program that I am calling my “Dancer’s Discount Program” for all the families at New England Dance and Gymnastics Centers.
There are three ways for you to benefit by saving money
(and who doesn’t love to save money?).
#1- Refer your friends, family and co-workers to me if they mention that they want to buy or sell a home. Every lead that you send my way will be rewarded with a $30 gift certificate towards your lessons at New England Dance and Gymnastics Centers. This credit will be given for every lead you provide to me at the time the lead is given. Even family members out of the area can be a lead as I can work as a referral agent. More leads = more credits = cheaper tuition for you hard working moms and dads!
#2- List your home for sale with me. I am a specialist at marketing residential real estate and would love to present my unique internet marketing plan to any of you that are considering making a move. If you use me as your REALTOR I will take $500 off the commission. Put that savings into costumes, tuition or even extra private lessons!
#3- Buy a home with me. I would love to help you find your next home and if we work together on that task I will provide you with a more generous gift certificate to the dance studio.
I was recently named as one of Banker and Tradesmen’s Women of FIRE and in the article they described me thus:
Lesley Lambert talks the real estate talk, and she dances the dance, as
well.
Lambert lives a double life – she works full-time as sales associate and technology trainer at Park Square Realty based in Western Mass., and in her spare time she helps coach her daughters’ dance team.
Lambert was born into the business, and has worked in real estate in the Pioneer Valley for the last 25 years.”
It would be my pleasure to help choreograph your next move and dance a celebratory dance with you when we succeed! Just remember to think of Lesley Lambert, Dancing REALTOR when you hear about anyone who needs real estate help!
Happy National Dance Week from Your Dancing REALTOR in Western MA!
The week of April 29, 2013 marks the beginning of National Dance Week.
I have been dancing my whole life and dance is a huge part of who I am. Dance has been a hobby, sport, job, creative outlet, family bonding and friendship building experience for me. Most all, dance has been my outlet.
I am so grateful to have dance in my life now and love sharing the joy of dance with my daughters and my students at New England Dance Centers. I appreciate spending time with these kids and really enjoy that they crave my experience and input. There is something so wonderful about sharing a passion with the next generation. It is very empowering to know that what I teach these young people will impact and help to shape who they become.
Dance is also a large part of why I am such a good (if I do say so myself) real estate agent for my clients and customers in Western MA. Dance taught me to set goals and take steps towards achieving those goals, dance taught me that determination and spirit will lead to success, dance gave me the strength and confidence to back up my thoughts, dance gave me the ability to gracefully accept constructive criticism
and dance gave me a quiet space inside to help find answers to questions. These are leadership skills that I may not have learned, or learned as well, another way.
So, while I am a full time (60 to 80 hours a week is full time, right?) REALTOR, a job that I truly love, I am glad to still have dance in my life. Some people spend their “down time” at the gym or playing poker or doing crafts. I spend mine at the dance studio with my daughters.
Below are some videos I have created about dance. There is one very short (and pretty crappy quality) video of me tap dancing and there is a video I made for the Abouthom.es Girls talking about why I love dance (in which I tap dance again).
If you want a REALTOR who learned important leadership skills at an early age and who loves dance, but never gives a song and dance in her real estate work then call Lesley Lambert, Dancing REALTOR at Park Square Realty in Westfield, MA.
Lesley Lambert on why dance is so important to her
My Abouthom.es Girls friend, Lisa Oden, asked in her recent video what we love to share with our community. She suspected that tap shoes might be involved and she was right!
I started dancing at the age of two. At the age of 11 I joined a competitive dance team and that was the beginning of a life long passion. I have been dancing all the time ever since and have loved every moment of it! In 1982 I became a student at New England Dance Centers, where I remain as an instructor and choreographer to this day. My daughters (ages 11 and 8) are both competitive dancers at the studio and it is a great thrill to have this shared love of dance with them.
My real estate career is heading into it’s 25th year and is my full-time profession. I work at it way more than 40 hours a week and give top priority to my clients and customers. That being said, it can be a hectic and stressful business. Dance is my therapy. Other people leave work and go to the gym, out for drinks with friends or play sports. Me? I head to the dance studio to sing, dance and play with some kids that share a love of music and dance. What could be more rejuvenating to mind, spirit and body?
Here is a very short (2minute) video in which I discuss my passion for dance and even show you a little tap dancing:
Jazz Workshop in Northampton with Tap Dance!
This tap dancing REALTOR had a really amazing time on Tuesday night. There is an awesome Jazz Workshop every Tuesday at Page’s Loft in Northampton and this week it was a tap dance jam, too!
Morriss and I had gone to the workshop a few weeks ago and while signing an email form I mentioned to the organizer that I wished there was a wood floor because their music made me want to sit in as a tap dancer. I was so excited when he told me that there was a tap workshop coming up.
This Tuesday Morriss and I excitedly arrived at the venue in time to see most of the headliners, Tap and Tray and the Fool (their performance name) made up of two tappers from Germany, Kurt Albert and Klaus Bleis and Josh Hilberman of Boston. They were fantastic, smooth and fun and oh so cool in their complicated rhythms. Here they are performing “Buck and Wing”:
After their performance the workshop jam began and the floor was opened to other performers. I was really intimidated and scared to tap, but I also knew that I would really regret it if I didn’t. I was chatting with Sharon Arslanian and she brought me to the floor and next thing I knew I was performing!
It has been a very very long time since I danced in public, much less performing improv, but what a rush! I shared the song with Stefanie Weber (my maiden name!) and we took turns sharing our renditions. She is an amazing performer and has some really cool projects going on.
We didn’t get any video of me dancing on Tuesday, but here is a short video I posted awhile ago:
