Do you know what a vision board is? It is a board with images that are indicative of things that you want to attract into your life. Pictures, poems, items can all be posted to remind you daily of your goals and aspirations. This visualization tool is said to call into the play the Law of Attraction. My sister has a prominent one in her kitchen, but I have never taken to the idea. I don’t know if it is because they called it a “Law” and I dislike rules or if it is an aversion to paper, but it just never appealed even though I appreciate the concept.
Recently I have been thinking about my life as it was, as it is now and as I dream that it will be and got to thinking that it may be time for a vision board. Being the internet geek that I am I have decided to create a virtual vision board instead of the traditional type.
I figure that by posting my vision board here in the public eye I gain a few things that a board at home could not accomplish:
1- accountability
2- support
3- assistance
I call upon you, my friends, clients and unknown readers to help me and I will do the same for you. See what my goals are and maybe you can help by applauding my efforts, reminding me to stay the course or even referring some business my way. Who knows if this will work, but it sure can’t hurt!
I want to take my daughters to Walt Disney World……soon.
To have a bit more free time and expendable income to travel more with Morriss.
To travel to more Real Estate BarCamps and PodCamps.
I would love to install hardwood floors in my condo
To take my mom on a trip to Ireland
This is a work in progress and will change as my goals and aspirations shift and grow. My sister is one to say that you have to put things “out in the universe”, so that is what I have done. Law or no law, I hope to attract these events into my life.

Leslie,
I just finished the Floyd Wickman course. One of the first things we did was declare a goal. We had to bring a laminated picture of our goal to the next class. My picture was a photo of my husband and I on our honeymoon. My goal is to take HIM back to Cancun for a second honeymoon. I have a copy of that picture on my desk at the office, on my desk in my home office, on my bathroom mirror…you get the idea. It has definitely made a difference in me and I think I may actually get to make this happen for our 15th Anniversary in 2 1/2 more years. The most exciting thing is that he doesn’t know about my goal. He just thinks I have fallen in love with this picture!
I admire your Virtual Vision Board and wish you only the best of luck my friend. Who knows…. maybe I will see you at the ReBar NOLA in November!

Is it Starmakers? I took that, too and had to do the same. So glad you are on track for your goal!
