Park Square Realty top in Westfield home sales for 2011

The numbers are in and even though we haven’t completed 2011, Park Square Realty is so far ahead that we are calling the game won!

Park Square Realty in Westfield, MA is a small locally owned company that knows how to get homes in the Westfield area SOLD. As one of the real estate agents in the Westfield office it makes me proud that we are so far ahead of the competition, especially when you know that our team is about 50 agents.

Miss Sweets, Westfield, MA – Another Good Reason to Forget Your Diet!

I finally found the time to stop by Miss Sweets on Franklin Street in Westfield, MA and boy am I glad I did!

This shop is first of all, absolutely beautiful. The decor, lighting, style and ambiance are classy and comfortable making this a wonderful place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or hot chocolate. They even have free wi-fi!

I sampled four chocolate truffles and they were all amazing, but I must say my favorite was the Violetta truffle.

The shop has ice cream during the warm months, too! There were gift items available and I plan to purchase some truffles to give as hostess gifts for upcoming parties. Forget your diet and go try some! Be sure to visit Miss Sweets Facebook page AND the actually shop as soon as you can!

The Great River Bridge in Westfield Re-Opens!

Westfield, MA has been suffering serious crosstown congestion for years, but hopefully tomorrow it will be improved. As of tomorrow, December 1, the original Great River Bridge in Westfield, MA will be re-opening!

Westfield, MA November Road Construction Update

The City of Westfield has been undergoing a massive amount of park and road improvements that have created some challenges for residents as we encounter traffic delays in seemingly every part of town.

There is much progress being made, however, and some very good news on the near horizon.

Firstly, the paving of Main Street is moving right along and will soon be complete. But here is the big news that I found most exciting:

Great River Bridge Project:

The contractor laying pavement on the bridge deck. They are continuing on a plan to begin traffic flow going southbound on the renovated bridge during Thanksgiving week – weather permitting.

As a reminder this is a State funded/State controlled project and we are gathering information and moving it out to you as it becomes available.”

Can you believe it folks? We will soon be able to use both bridges…yippee!
