I have long been a fan and supporter of Mothers Fighting for Others, a charitable organization founded by an amazingly generous woman, Rocky Turner.

Mothers Fighting For Others provides orphaned girls in Africa with a loving and nurturing environment and a quality education, so they can learn, thrive and achieve their highest potential.

This powerful letter from Rocky explains how she came to found this organization and why she feels so strongly that it is important. “I want them to feel loved. I want them to feel safe and secure. I want them to go to school and grow up to be great women. What I want for them is what their Mothers would have wanted. That is it. It’s that simple,” says Rocky.

MFFO is raising money with a Virtual Fundraiser, a raffle with the much coveted iPad as the prize. Tickets are $25 each and only 200 will be sold…not bad odds AND you get to help improve the life of a child in Africa that needs so much that can be given so easily from us.
