‎Lesley: Excellent! I think that’s a great idea to have those items in plain view all the time. And it’s even greater than you chose your company BECAUSE of their mission statement and core values. What were the specific elements that attracted you to your company?

I started to type a long response on the Facebook thread and then I realized that it was really a blog post and something that I should share with my readers, clients and the public at large.

So, without further ado, here are Park Square Realty (and Lesley Lambert’s) core values and also why I chose Park Square Realty and you should, too!

Miss Sweets, Westfield, MA – Another Good Reason to Forget Your Diet!

I finally found the time to stop by Miss Sweets on Franklin Street in Westfield, MA and boy am I glad I did!

This shop is first of all, absolutely beautiful.  The decor, lighting, style and ambiance are classy and comfortable making this a wonderful place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or hot chocolate.  They even have free wi-fi!

I sampled four chocolate truffles and they were all amazing, but I must say my favorite was the Violetta truffle.

The shop has ice cream during the warm months, too!  There were gift items available and I plan to purchase some truffles to give as hostess gifts for upcoming parties. Forget your diet and go try some! Be sure to visit Miss Sweets Facebook page AND the actually shop as soon as you can!

The Great River Bridge in Westfield Re-Opens!

Westfield, MA has been suffering serious crosstown congestion for years, but hopefully tomorrow it will be improved. As of tomorrow, December 1, the original Great River Bridge in Westfield, MA will be re-opening!

On Foreclosure, Short Sales and First Time Buyers in Western MA

The economy is creating a strange situation.  On the one hand, people are in tight spaces and are being forced to face reality and leave their homes via distressed sales like a Short Sale or Foreclosure.

– They just raised the “Right to Cure” in Massachusetts…. It’s a minimum of 150 days before and bank/lender can start foreclosure proceedings… (This is due to the volume of foreclosures)

– 1 out of every 3 properties in Massachusetts are distressed…

– 34% of all sales (2010) were first time home buyers…

– 13% of all sales are short sales …

– 27% of all sales are foreclosed properties.

– 22% of all sales are investment properties.

– 35% of all sales are cash sales.
