Westfield is at it again! Old man winter has made the pothole situation a nightmare once again AND to top off the bumping and shaking, the construction crews are back at it again.
Be careful out there! Here is a report from the road:
There are three styles of condominiums at Stoney Hill: Ranch, Cape, Colonial. Each has a garage and a rear deck with privacy. Located conveniently in the southern part of Westfield, MA Stoney Hill condos are a wonderful option for homeowners that don’t want to have to care for the outdoor maintenance, but would still like to enjoy the outdoors.
#1- Location. Close to highways and the center of town, but set back off the road and very private
#2- Setting. Tranquil and serene.
#3- Amenities. Pool, golf, bocci, clubhouse, decks, yards.
#4- Garage. Each unit has one!
#5- Fireplaces. Each unit has one!
#6- Easy maintenance lifestyle. Ten inches of snow? No problem, curl up by the fire and let the crew handle it!
#7- Great neighbors. Friendly and warm.
#8- Storage. Full basements with “tunnel” walkout to garage area.
#9- Variety. Three styles of homes.
#10- Privacy. Each unit is private and completely separate. Very “houselike” designs.

First off, thank you so much to everyone who has already helped Thomas Skrodzki and his family. As you may know, they lost their home and everything in it to a fire this past Saturday. I had written a post requesting specific clothing items and within days there were bags of donations arriving at Park Square Realty at 44 Elm Street, Westfield
I was with two other REALTORS in Westfield who are working to help Tom and his family and we all agreed that at this point a donation or a gift card might be the most useful for the family as it is becoming difficult to track what items have already been donated. If you are willing and able, perhaps a gift card to somewhere like Sears, Walmart or Target would be good as they can use it towards both clothing and household items. Additionally, if you know someone at a restaurant or store who could work out a company donation for food or vouchers, that would be terrific, too!
Tom had this on his Facebook page today:
Once again our continued thanks and appreciation go out to everyone’s generosity and kindness with the donations and help while we go through this adjustment period. Several have requested they wanted to donate financially so an account has …been setup with Citizens Bank at Stop & Shop in Westfield. Donations can be made to the “housing fund – Skrodzki’s”
I am very proud to be part of a community that rallies and bands together to help a neighbor in need.
We truly feel blessed by everyone’s support, these have made this time much easier on us and our children. We thank and give praise to God as well everyday that no one was hurt in the fire and as a family we are safe.
LARGE PRICE REDUCTION!
First time homebuyers, take note of the large price reduction on this Westfield, MA home for sale. Terrific deal, call for a showing before it is too late!

A business friend of mine, Thomas Skrodzki’s family home in Westfield caught on fire this weekend and it was a total loss. Thankfully no one was home and no one was injured, but his family has lost all their possessions and are in need of community support.
They are currently looking to find a home to lease for a year. If you know of a home that is available for this family, please let me know.
Please read this list and see if you have any of these items to donate or a gift card that you can offer. You can drop the items to my attention at Park Square Realty: 44 Elm Street, Westfield, MA and I will make sure Tom’s family gets the items.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and help in spreading the word.
