Why Should you hire Lesley Lambert, REALTOR in Westfield, MA?

This is a question that I have asked my past clients to answer for you. The answers, in their words, will tell you more about me and how I work than I could tell.

Today I want to share the story of Joelle and Darius (DJ) Breau. This lovely couple was referred to me by a friend from my years at Southwick High School in Southwick, MA and came to me excited to buy their first home during the First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit. Over the course of our i house hunt in Southwick, Westfield and Agawam, I grew very attached to these two with their smart wits and big hearts. We found their new home in Agawam, MA where they are settled in with their adorable new puppy. It is my honor to count them as both clients and friends and I wish them many years of happiness in their new home.

Joelle recently sent this in an email and I want to share it here:

“My husband and I decided to buy a house this year and Lesley Lambert came highly recommended to us. She was wonderful to work with and made the stressful process of acquiring our first home a joy. She is very knowledgeable and talked us through every step, including being there for us during our inspections. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with her and recommend her highly.

Sincerely,
Joelle Foisey-Breau”

What Joelle might not know (until she reads this post) is that I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to help them with this special time in their lives. Thank you Joelle and DJ!

If you are looking for a Western MA real estate agent to help you find your next home it would be my honor to help.

Alumni of Westfield State University Using Social Media

I was honored to be included in September’s issue of “Focus” Magazine, the alumni publication for Westfield State University.

The article featured alumni who are using social media to further their careers and enhance their business.

It is wonderful to be included in this WSU publication and to have an opportunity to share how I am using social media to help sell homes in Western Massachusetts.

My English degree from Westfield State University helps me with writing and creating my marketing plans. As a real estate agent at Park Square Realty in Westfield MA 01085. I enjoy combining traditional marketing with online and social media marketing to help my clients sell their homes and help buyers to find their next home.

Thank you to my good friends at WSU for including me in this article!

In today’s tough marketplace it is more important than ever that your home be marketed to the most potential buyers in the strongest format possible.

As a professional real estate agent at Park Square Realty in Westfield, MA 01085 it is my goal to be constantly learning, evolving and creating new marketing strategies for my home sellers. FourSquare-endipity

This is a true life social media tale about the serendipitous nature of FourSquare.

I am a sometimes user of FourSquare. I would use it more often if I had a different phone, but my antique Blackberry Curve can’t seem to handle the application very well and often freezes when I am trying to check in places. That I will solve shortly when I get my iPhone and after my true life experiences this summer, I can’t wait to use it more often!

This One Time In Vegas….

Morriss and I were on our vacation with a final destination of Utah, but the first night was spent at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas. I managed to coax my phone through the check-in process to discover that the editor of my Masslive.com real estate articles, Laura Merwin was also staying there. I have never met Laura face to face and was excited to create a spontaneous meet up, but our schedules didn’t connect. All the same, I thought it was a lot of fun to see that someone I “knew” was there at the same time and afforded our #westernma friends on Twitter and Facebook a chance to chat about how random life is at times.

Put Me In Coach!

Derek Massey and I at the Orioles Game

Over Labor Day Morriss and I took our kids to a baseball game at Camden Yards in Baltimore and I checked in. Moments later I saw that a friend, Derek Massey, was also checked into the ballgame. We tweeted during the game and he came by before he left to have a quick visit. It was awesome to see him even for just a moment and it never would have happened if it wasn’t for checking in on FourSquare!

Round Peg in a Square Hole

On our return drive from Baltimore, Morriss and I stopped at a rest area in Connecticut. As we were stretching and letting the kids run a bit, a woman approached and asked if we were Lesley and Morriss from Twitter. We admitted to the crime and she introduced herself as Heather Brandon (@heddafeddah) who is one of my first Twitter friends and someone with whom I have shared a lot of Mom themed discussions. She recognized us from our Twitter avatars and I am so glad she came over to say hello! This instance has nothing to do with FourSquare, but was so similar in the serendipity department that I had to share it, as well.

Heather Brandon and I at the rest area

I have written a post with ideas on how real estate professionals can use location based technology in their career, but this is really the power of these applications. Social media is about being social and this is a powerful way to put people together in the same place at the same time.

Be sure to friend me up over at my FourSquare profile so we can have a spontaneous meet up one day!

Do you have any serendipitous social media tales to share? Comment!

Westfield, MA Construction Now and Then

Anyone that has driven through my hometown of Westfield, MA 01085 in the last few months will have noticed the extensive construction going on. It seems every part of town is torn up and slow moving. Between the new bridge project, the new Town Green project and the multiple roads that are being dug up and resurfaced you can’t really go anywhere in town without running into a construction crew.

I work at Park Square Realty, 44 Elm Street, Westfield MA and the construction is literally right out of our front door.

This is what it looks like at the Town Green today:

———————————————————————————————————————

This is the sketch of what Westfield Town Green is supposed to look like after completion:

I hope they can get us from the mess it is today to that lovely state as soon as possible, but in the meantime: hang in there folks, Westfield will be better than ever when this is done!
