If you were thinking, like most people, that spring is the best time to sell, then I am here to tell you: “No gold sticker for you!”. Wrong answer.

Most people believe that they should wait for spring, but if you apply some logic to this, you will quickly understand that by waiting you could LOSE money. More houses for sale = more competition = less money for home sellers.

Do the smart thing and get a jump on the competition! There are plenty of buyers out there with very low inventory…you will reap the rewards!

2015 Was a Year of Increased Sales Volume in Western MA Real Estate

The numbers are done being crunched and it is official…2015 was a better year in Western Massachusetts real estate!

The infographic below shows the increased figures for the Realtor Association of the Pioneer Valley, Park Square Realty and then my own personal increase.  Guess which number is the highest?

The REALTOR Association of the Pioneer Valley reported an increase of 11.7%, Park Square Realty Company increase was 21.5% and my own personal increase squashed those at 24%!

2016 is poised to be even better! If you are thinking of making a move, remember to call the agent that is getting more people moving!

Westfield Area Contractor List Compiled by Lesley Lambert, Westfield REALTOR with Park Square Realty

The other week I took a question to the members of the “We Love Westfield Community Forum” on Facebook.  I asked them, “Who do you recommend for your assorted home repairs?”.

The answers came flooding in and I have now compiled a list of these recommendations. I want to make it clear that I am merely putting these recommendations into one list and would advise everyone to read the following statement:

The following list of contractors and service people was compiled from the suggestions of the residents of the Westfield area, primarily via the Facebook group “We Love Westfield Community Forum”. Individuals are advised that the current licensing and good standing of these businesses has not been verified and that the individuals using this list should perform their own due diligence.

If you need a recommendation for a good REALTOR, might I recommend myself? 🙂
