Park Square Realty in Westfield, MA announced their top producers for the third quarter of 2012 and I am proud to say that I am one of them!I don’t like bragging, and I don’t want to be one of those real estate agents that can’t discuss anything except how awesome they are, but I am a goal oriented gal and it makes me happy when I meet one of my goals.
Also, it is visual proof to you, dear readers, that I can actual walk the walk after I talk the talk here on my blog. When I am not up at odd hours of the night writing blog posts for goodness knows who, I am an actual hard-working REALTOR who lists and sells homes in Western MA and is pretty darn good at it, too.
Well, when one goal is met, another moves into place. Now I am working on my 2013 goals and being top agent again is only one part of it. I will share more on that in a later post, but you can be part of my success.

Park Square Realty’s showings and pending sales are up about 200% over last year. Additionally homes are selling for about 5-7% under the asking price when Western MA homes are priced within fair market range.
I am the #1 Agent for listings sold at Park Square Realty and my percentages for percentage under asking price are often much better than the local industry averages.

Over the past few weeks the economic outlook for real estate has improved in Western Massachusetts. As a real estate agent in Western Massachusetts for the past 23 years, I have seen a lot of change in the local real estate market. Park Square Realty has noticed a few key elements that will impact the real estate market in Western MA this Spring.
Mortgage rates have been at a lifetime low, but they won’t last forever. Over the past week the rates have been creeping up and it is probably time to ask your lender about a “rate lock” and start seriously hunting for your new home.
Rising interest rates could spur more activity in home sales in Western Massachusetts. As a home buyer this means you want to get out there quickly and get your dream home before the competition grows. If you are a home seller in Western MA then you want to get your house on the market now to try to be there when the buyers show up.
This January and February have been the best two months in winter home sales in the past five years.
Let’s hope these economic indicators are a sign of improvement in Western Massachusetts real estate!

January 2011 to March 20th 2011: 264 Showings 31 Pendings (PKSQ Listings)
January 2012 to March 20th 2012: 540 Showings 58 Pendings (PKSQ Listings)
These are amazing statistics….
Showings on our listings have more than doubled from last year = (204.5%)
Pending sales of our listings have almost doubled from last year = (187.1%)
Activity at Park Square has basically doubled during the first 80 days of 2012..
